CINNAMON ROLLS

INGREDIENTS:

1 BOX Ketogenics Low Carb Bread Machine Mix
Butter
Cinnamon
Sugar Twin Brown Sugar Substitute

DIRECTIONS:

Make dough as directed in Ketogenic instructions. Much easier if you have a bread maker. If using a bread maker, just use the dough setting. Of course it does not have to be Ketogenics but after trying this it tastes pretty much perfect to me (both taste and texture) so this is what I'll be using.

Take half the dough at a time as this stuff can be a little difficult to roll out. Roll it out as thin as you can.

Coat the dough with a thin layer of butter, then a thin layer of cinnamon, then a thin layer of brown sugar twin. I have found that a little goes a long way so there is no reason to overdue it. It is just needless carbs if you put on too much.

Pat the cinnamon and sugar down into the butter and dough with your fingers.

Roll of the dough tightly and after you have it rolled don't be afraid to squeeze it making for an even longer roll.

Cut the roll up into thicknesses of about an inch and a half.

Place the cut pieces on top of a tin foil plate.

Pour Atkins Maple Syrup all over the rolls until they are all covered and the bottom of the dish should also be covered.

Pop in the oven at 400 degrees for about an hour, then reduce the temperature to 350 for about another half hour. You'll be able to tell when they are done by the color which should be a nice golden brown.

Note: Pecans or walnuts could be added to the mix prior to rolling if you like nuts in your cinnamon rolls.

They are a delicious sticky chewy treat. I like them best while a little warm. They seem to freeze quite nicely. Just take one out and pop it in the microwave for about 20 seconds.

I used fitday to calculate a calorie and carb count but of course, it can vary depending on how much brown sugar, cinnamon and butter you use as well as how thick you cut them.
